We are a community service organization and more than 90% of our work is driven by our volunteers. in 2016, our average individual volunteer hours was over 90 hours annually. Considering, we have had more than 70 volunteers consistently served our community, equaling an estimated value of nearly $154,102. Committed volunteers make it possible to deliver our many high-
quality services and yet keep our costs low.
There are a variety of volunteer opportunities for individuals ranging from collaboration to organizing community event. Volunteers make the day-to-day operations of Sema Foundation possible. The volunteers’ hard work and dedication is invaluable to our ability to serve our community.
Opportunities for Individuals
Step 1: Attend an orientation
Orientations are held at either our Phoenix or Tucson Area Offices. There is no need to register, just show up.
Step 2: Complete an application
You can pick up a volunteer application during normal business hours from our offices either in Tucson or Phoenix. Return your completed application to the same location.
Step 4: Attend any training
Once we determine which program you’ll be helping with, we’ll arrange any necessary training.

Opportunities for Kids
OUR YOUNGEST CITIZENS CAN SUPPORT SEMA FOUNDATION
While individuals must be 16 years old or over to volunteer in our programs, children are welcome to join our Kids Club.
JOIN THE KIDS CLUB
Kids Club is open to all kids and teens. Membership is easy. Kids simply organize a fundraiser or donation drive.
WHO CAN BE A KIDS CLUB MEMBER?
Any child that wants to help others can join. We also welcome school groups, Scout troops and other youth groups to become Sema Kids Club Members.
